Cinderella’s gown is adorned with hundreds of small crystals — shimmering decorative stones carefully attached one by one using a special titanium wire. The spectacular dress weighs a remarkable 20 kilograms, making it a true masterpiece brought to life on stage.
Fiesta Escenica is the first and only circus in the world to use animatronic technology — an innovative method that allows gigantic animal figures to move and behave like real animals.
For this groundbreaking innovation, which earned them international acclaim, they were honored with the prestigious “Roncalli” Award.
In the performance, animatronic mice “sew” Cinderella’s dress, creating a magical scene straight out of a cinematic fairytale.
The animal figures, crafted with synthetic fur, were artistically supervised by Kim Clark, who has overseen puppet constructions at Disney theme parks in the United States and Tokyo, as well as productions for Cirque du Soleil, on Broadway, and for the Disney musical Beauty and the Beast.
The carriage is truly unique. It is not merely an imposing stage prop — through a one-of-a-kind mechanical transformation, it turns into an aerial sphere.
This extraordinary construction required months of dedicated work and meticulous attention to detail in order to meet the artistic demands of such an ambitious production.
Annette Devick, who performs the role of the Stepmother, is not only a powerful stage actress; for many years, she also served as Casting Director for Cirque du Soleil in Canada, bringing world-class theatrical expertise to the production.
