🔹The world-famous melodies of the great Italian composer and Maestro Ennio Morricone, from films such as Cinema Paradiso, The Mission, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Malena, Once Upon a Time in the West, Sacco and Vanzetti, Once Upon a Time in America and many more, take center stage in this concert performed by the all-female Italian orchestra LE MUSE, featuring the unique soloist and Ennio Morricone diva Susanna Rigacci, who accompanied him in his concerts for 20 years.
🔹Alongside the performance of the most iconic soundtracks in film history, images and clips from the movies of Sergio Leone, Federico Fellini, Giuseppe Tornatore, and Francis Ford Coppola will be projected, accompanied by brief narration about the life and work of Ennio Morricone, creating an unforgettable experience.
🔹This tribute is a homage to the great composer and was first presented in 2016, following Ennio Morricone’s Oscar win. It received the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic as the most representative tribute to the legendary composer. It has been performed in numerous countries across Europe, as well as in the Americas and Asia (Los Angeles, Bangkok, San Francisco, New Delhi, Rabat, Mumbai, Toronto, and more).
🔹Ennio Morricone, the Italian composer and maestro who enchanted the world with his music, won two Oscars, three Grammys, four Golden Globes, two European Film Awards – Golden Lion, and many more during his career. Over 70 million records of his have been sold worldwide. His compositions have captivated generations and span various musical genres, making him the most important soundtrack composer of all time.
🔹The symphonic ensemble Le Muse from Italy consists exclusively of female musicians, most of whom come from the renowned Rondo Veneziano Orchestra. Beyond their extensive experience in all aspects of classical music, they possess a special sensitivity and instinct in interpreting Morricone’s compositions, known for their precision and expressive power in evoking images. The outstanding soprano Daniela Placci holds a special role in the orchestra, which is conducted by pianist, founder, and maestro Andrea Albertini.
