The renowned soloist musicians, Johann Strauss Virtuosi, from the famous Vienna Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra, give the audience in Veria the opportunity to enjoy the festive musical atmosphere of the enchanting era of Imperial Vienna. They invite us to welcome 2026 with notes of joy and optimism through the most beautiful waltzes and polkas of the most famous Viennese composer family, the Strausses.
The internationally recognized Vienna Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra, specialized in performing works of classical composers from the Golden Age of Imperial Vienna, places particular emphasis on Viennese style and interpretation. It has become a landmark of high-quality classical entertainment, while its concerts at the Orangerie of the Schoenbrunn Palace play a significant role in the cultural and musical life of the city.
Johann Strauss Virtuosi are conducted by the charismatic Maestro Vinicius Kattah, a permanent collaborator of the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra, as well as the Vienna State Opera and the Konzerthaus. He is considered one of the most promising young conductors of the new generation.
The highlight of the evening: the iconic “Blue Danube”, the most famous waltz worldwide and a hallmark of Johann Strauss, with a couple of dancers transporting you into the magical world of the Golden Age of Imperial Vienna!
